Spring Updates ‘24
In February, John Glang, Vice President of the Board, visited Our Lady of Angels School in Burlingame to present a gift of financial support. We extend our gratitude to Principal Monica Ruane for her warm welcome and commend her leadership at the school, a cherished institution in the Constantino family for generations.
In April, Mr. Glang made another visit, this time to Mills High School in Millbrae, where he presented a gift to the school's Annual Fund. We are thankful to Principal Pamela Duszynski for hosting us during this event.
Also in April, representatives from the Constantino Family Foundation participated in the University of San Francisco’s President’s Ambassadors and Fr. John Lo Schiavo Legacy Society Brunch. This annual gathering is a chance for university benefactors to connect and explore additional ways to support our students. Among the attendees was Zachary Hunter, a commissioned ROTC student who will graduate on May 16. Zachary, who will soon be stationed at Ft. Wainwright near Fairbanks, Alaska, aims to become a Company Commander in the near future. His ambition and leadership are truly inspiring.
This past week, the Foundation awarded two scholarships at the College of San Mateo in honor of Thomas L. Constantino. The recipients, Tongvan Do and Me Me Hlaing Oo, have shown outstanding community service, educational dedication, and academic excellence. Both exemplify the core values of the Constantino Family Foundation, and we look forward to seeing their future achievements.
